Socio-Economic Determinants of Happiness: The Case of Afghanistan

The study empirically investigates the determinant factors of happiness in Afghanistan using ordered logistic and probit regression models. In study, cross-sectional data collected from 74,351 people 2019 survey Asia Foundation 34 provinces was employed. Our findings confirm that age, marital status, employment, education level, income, foreign language ability, perception country’s future direction, change household economic situation are key variables affecting individuals country. positive impact family size variable on has been study’s finding.
